Samantha Forsyth and Newsflash Qualify for North American Young Riders Championship
Horse Trials Nova Scotia wishes to extend CONGRATULATIONS to Samantha Forsyth and her horse, Newsflash, on qualifying for the North American Young Riders Championship. Sam is riding as an individual for Nova Scotia and is being combined with other riders to field a full Team for the CCI* Full 3 Day Event.
The CCI* YR Team consists of :
- Samatha Forsyth (Newsflash) - Nova Scotia
- Noel Clark (Jack of Hearts?) - Alberta
- Jennifer Gray (Falcor) - Ontario
- Jessica DiGenova (Upolo) - Ontario
Waylon Roberts and Paleface are competing in the CCI** YR Championship Division.
Sam is from Nova Scotia's Eastern Shore and rode with Andy Wadowski and Pam LeDrew of Pinehill Equestrian Centre. She has been a working student for Eventing coach, Jennifer Irwin in Ontario for the past two years.
The CCI* One Star denotes FEI Preliminary level 3 Day Event (versus a One Day Horse Trials). ** (Two Star = Intermediate level) The performance challenges in FEI Divisions are proportionately increased. It is quite an accomplishment.
