About the event
all divisions will start in the jumping ring with 3 fences, then jump out and do a short course in the field and then jump back in and do 3-4 fences again in the stadium. An optimum time will be set according to wheeled distance and recommended pace.

· Entry – Height 2’6” max. Pace 350 mpm
· Pre-training – Height 2’9” max. Pace 400 mpm
· Training – Height 3’ max. Pace 400 mpm
General Information
The two Derby rounds will be different courses and separated by a lunch break. At lunch time there will be a Costume Pairs Class offered. $20 per pair. Participants will jump a short course single file and then pair up for a final double fence. To make it even more fun, choose a song to ride to.
Entries
. Will be limited. Send in early! Post entries may be accepted if a competitor scratches. Post entries will add $15 to the entry fee

Prizes
Ribbons to 5th place.. Classes will be split into Junior and Senior for placings if entries warrant.
Dress
Clinic style – casual but neat and professional - except for the costume class of course ;-)
General Rules
· Judge’s decisions are final.
· Two (or more) riders may ride the same horse.
Cross country vests are required
